  We are privileged to have an outstanding faculty that shares a commitment to quality education and to the personal development of each student. All Holistic Learning Center instructors are credentialed by the State of Colorado to ensure a high standard of education and experience.
With more than 20 years experience in the medical community, our instructors bring their passion and knowledge of the human body and its dis-eases into the classroom.
Our instructors are Certified Massage Therapists, Certified Holistic Health Practitioners, Reiki Masters, and Certified Canine Massage/Acupressure Therapists with experience in a wide range of countries, such as Germany and Thailand. They bring their interest in holistic health and their extensive work in healing energy to create a fun and healing classroom environment.
Many of our staff memebers also specialize in integrative therapeutic and Thai massage techniques. thier knowledge of and enthusiasm for anatomy and physiology is contagious, creating an informative and exciting learning process.
The owner and director of Education of The Holistic Learning Center, has taken her 25 years of experience in accounting and business and combined it with her passion for the body, mind, spirit connection. She is a graduate of the Holistic Learning Center's massage therapy program herself.

  For Your Information
  Student Complaints
  Student complaints should be brought to the attention of the Director of Education in order to be resolved. If a student complaint cannot be resolved between the student and the school, a student may contact the Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools. There is a two-year limitation of Division action on student complaints.
  Students and graduates wanting liability insurance information should contact Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
  Class size and times
  Minimum class size is established at four students and a maximum of eight. The Holistic Learning Center offers daytime and evening programs with all classes being held Monday through Thursday. Times and dates are subject to change based upon student enrollment.
  Referral Service
  The Holistic Learning Center does not assist in job placement nor make any guarantees, however will send letters of recommendation to prospective employees at the student's request.

  Graduation Requirements
  • Completion of the required curriculum with passing grades
• Compliance with all rules and regulations of the school.
• Payment in full of all tuition and fees.
  Passing Grade System:
  The student must be able to organize and present information relative to healing bodywork skills, record keeping and communication. An assessment and evaluation of the above will be made through out the course. The instructor will indicate to the student if tutoring would be necessary to prevent failure. Students are also evaluated on class subject -matter through regular testing in Anatomy, Physiology, Massage Theory, Massage techniques (hand skills and strokes) and energy field healing procedures. Class participation and proper uniform/attire is also included in the overall evaluation. Course grades will be posted on the information board inside The Holistic Learning Center on last day of class. Retaking a class due to failure can be done at half price. Tutoring is advised for students who need support. Please speak with your instructor or director of education for suggestions.
  Grading Criteria
  All grading is done on a pass/fail system. Grading criteria includes written and practical exams, class participation, timely completion of all assignments, hands-on technique, attendance, and professionalism.
  Attendance Policy
  Students are expected to attend all classes. Instructors may request a student’s withdrawal from a course or program if absences or tardiness exceed 90%. Students who are unable to continue classes for medical reasons or personal problems will be required to take a leave of absence until they are able to return to class. Proper documentation will be required to substantiate a student’s withdrawal.
  Transfer Credit from Previous Education
  Students who wish to receive credit for previous education must submit diplomas and/or transcripts upon enrollment. Transfer fee for previous education hours accepted into the program by the Director of Education will be billed at $1.00 per clock hour transferred. The Holistic Learning Center does not guarantee the transfer of its course hours to any other institution unless there is a written agreement with the school. Acceptance of course hours is up to the receiving institution

  Admissions Policy
  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED being strongly recommended. The school does not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, ethnic origin, or disability.
  Enrollment is limited to 8 students - be sure to enroll early! $25 fee is due at time of enrollment.

  Financial Information
Massage Therapy Certification
The tuition for the 500 hour Massage Therapy Program is $5600 and can be paid in full upon enrollment or an interest free plan tailored to the student.

The Holistic Learning Center is also an approved provider of Sallie Mae Financial loans. Sallie Mae is the nation's leading provider of funding and servicing support for education loans and provides an excellent source of funds for school tuition.

All other programs, courses and workshops must be paid in full at the beginning of the first class.

  Refund Policy

The student may cancel their contract at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after signing the contract. Students not accepted to the school and students who cancel their contract by notifying the school within three business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. Students who withdraw after three business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuitions and fees paid except the cancellation charge of $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less. In the case of students withdrawing after commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of contact hours, as described below. The refund is based on the last date of recorded attendance.

All refunds will be made within 30 days from the date of termination. The official date of termination or withdrawal of a student shall be determined in the following manner:

  • The date on which the school receives notice of the student’s intention to discontinue the training program, or
  • The date on which the student violates published school policy which leads to termination, or
  • Should a student fail to return from an extended leave of absence, the effective date of termination for a student on an extended leave of absence is the earlier of the date the school determines the student is not returning, or the day following the expected return date.
The student will receive a full refund of tuition and fees paid if the school discontinues a course/program within the period of time a student could have reasonably completed it. This provision shall not apply in the event that the school ceases operation.
